SEPTEMBER MORN

 SEPTEMBER MORN

Cockcrow kisses, autumn wishes
in pale coloured ribbons
horizon's phosphoresce.
early morning grandeurs
and midnight stories,
long day summer
passed in purple daze.
dawn coruscating in globules gleam,
as woodlark whistles
on gaping welkin.
frosty zephyr wind
as harvest teases,
sombre faces with
dark coloured dresses.
sundry hue reflected
to your eyes.
Making plans and holding hands-
with the warmth of your embrace,
the sweet scent of the memories,
keep me above the
tsunami of despondency
as we celebrate
the renaissance of love
on this September morn.
