Serenity at last

Visions from above,
sending for her love

The gentlewoman far far away hidden by terrains,
but of which travelled to see him on his special days

Echoed her thick, vibrant voice did across the distant mountains,
past the never ending deserts and lush rainforest, until it finally found him

His ears flicked and twitched from what he heard,
her affectionate voice was all he longed for as he laid in his death bed

To know that she was safe and sound gave warmth to his heart and a wave of relief
as nature and life came into one and gathered him off his feet
