Set In Stone
My days seemed so long and had little meaning,
Condemned to boredom with nothing happening !
Life was based around a careers endless routine.
All I ever had which stimulated me was a dream !

Visions appeared to keep my existence bearable.
I hoped they'd be true making a new path possible.
Then, as if by chance, you and love were a reality !
All I had dreamt was simply laid out before me !
.................................................
My heart rejoiced and soul danced at the prospect,
A future beside you more than any should expect.
True happiness and fulfilment are now set in stone !
No longer shall I face the anguish of being alone !
