Seven

A need for people to tolerate,
Was somewhat difficult to communicate,
Gave all a chance,
Got a song and dance,
Troubles difficult to obliterate,

Others made up their minds,
To treat me very unkind,
Behind my back a trick,
Hard habit to kick,
Awaiting a cosmic sign,

Seeing repetitions of seven,
Must be something from heaven,
Often happens for me,
Always plain to see,
Started before the age eleven,

I was curious what it could mean,
Maybe I am pure and clean,
Does not build an ego,
No shame they let it go,
I know now some truth can be seen,
