Poem -

SEVENTY FIVE YEARS LATER

From all countries around the world the people came
To remember part of history's most awful shame
Seventy five years have now gone and passed
Since Auschwitz was finally liberated at last

Families and survivors went and visited there
The stories they tell are to heartbreaking to share
One survivor can still remember the choking
Of little children dying and prison guards smoking

Wreaths of honour were laid for the people who died
So much sadness and so many tears were cried
Do not ever let this tragedy ever happen once more
A terrible part of history for certain and sure

Good work. And a horrible event that should never be repeated.

And with the setting of the sun. We shall remember them.
