Shackles

Shackles

These chains can to longer hold me for I will always be free. These shackles may cut and bruise my limbs yet all but my mind will bleed. These walls that imprison me maybe my tomb but my will you will not break. My body may wither and turn to dust but my heart you cannot take. When I'm gone and free from fear my body you will not see but amongst the stone and gritted sand is where my bones will be.
