SHADES OF BEIGE

In shades of beige she shuffles by
Head cast down avoiding sky
And I fancy that I see her cry
But tis the wind I think that tears her eye
For all her life I cannot see
The truth of souls all hidden from me
But misery falls into my heart
To see the beige one shuffle past
And I'll wager that no bird would land
Or flower linger in her hand
For the very air is sorrows breath
Where smiles and beauty might find a death
In shades of beige she shuffles by
Head cast down avoiding sky
I feel the tears in my eye
But tis the wind I think that makes me cry.

Greetings Marionette,
Cheerie's correct, you are a wonderful writer, and that was fantastic!
Your writing always flows so beautifully, and is perfectly worded, and portrays whatever emotion you happen to be going for so deeply.
Loved that!
Hugs,
Matthew.
Glad you liked it my friend but you are being too kind, some of my stuff flows so badly it spills right off the bloody (again?) page..lol. I will correct it all...someday...far off..if I can be bothered!! Seriously though, you are right it is the emotion more than the words or composition that is important to me, I'm glad you felt it. Thankyou ?
Hi Marion love the way this is worded....I get the feeling it could be about loneliness or homelessness!
I'm not sure what I meant it to be about, I was trying to convey the inner pain of a stranger, so great that it is felt by all. I have met people so afflicted, for whatever reasons. Appreciate you reading and commenting my friend ?
