Shadow Men

Shadow Men

The weight of thoughts
Held in a mirror
Their voices of hate
Become so much clearer

I've been alone
Even when
I'm at home
Where there's people around

How can I stop
Hearing the whispers
In my ears
How can I stand up
For myself
Through these tears

The dark is evil
It traps me inside
My breath is taken
By the shadow men
That start the fight

Multiple wounds
Scar my veins
As the dark comes soon
It starts to drain
My happy

And I'm held by their mercy

The dark is evil
It can't be real
But yet I can't help
But feel
The dark pull me in
Like shadow men
