Shadows

Shadows

On a still night,
While our birds slept,
I saw dancing shadows
In our orchard.
We have no light,
but those radiant shadows
Lighted up the place.
I danced with them in a fleeting moment
Perhaps you don't know
that those shadows were our souls.
You and I.
