SHAKING THE AFTEREFFECTS

SHAKING THE AFTEREFFECTS

It was a nightmare I had in my sleep last night
Something that worried me and gave me a fright
I tossed and turned but sleep didn't arrive
The nightmare and fear of being eaten alive

The monster was ugly, slimy and green
He devoured my body parts he was cruel and mean
When I got up the very next day
I looked in the mirror and everything appeared okay

Shaking the aftereffects will be a hard thing to do
It's not easy having a slimy green monster coming after you
