Poem -

shallow water's enslaved.

I've drained the bath of time
Searching for many washed selves
To place within the walls of my memory,
only to find it empty
Why should i search through the murky water,
the layers of dead skin ,
to find my important feature's,
having realized only that there are many Me.'s and if's
i could not save, taking all but one to the grave,
the only body of flesh blood and bone, left naked
scrubbed, till it was raw , outside the water, laying on the floor accomplishing nothing,
this timeless bath i could not save,
Each ripple effect, drops depraved already taken to the grave,
within the shallow water's enslaved.
