Masking Myself
hiding the frustration, Pain
an Anger
Blood Rising
Fists Clenching
Smiling till the mask
tears into me
shredding into me
leaving me
broken
till
I
Crawl to her
where the mask crumbles
the shard may still be stuck
but my heart is whole
and my smile threatens to burst free
My eyes sparkle
instead of dimming
she stays with me
laughing till it falls
into our laps with warm tears
and im finally
