Poem -

Shards of Love

My fingers stretched out in search mode,

My ears capture whispers of unspoken words,

My sunlight, powered by all that is him.

My mirrors, reflecting what appears to be,

presenting ghost of hunted soul mates

Shades and echoes of my love for him,

Like heaven the feeling consumes.

My heart utters a language of love,

Coded in colors. My breath, warm as the

Kisses placed upon his brow. His love, this

Love, it haunts. Loving him wrongly, but

The soul receiving rightly.

Though years have passed, he speaks to my

Heart and my soul still acknowledges a

Feeling all too familiar.
With his eyes he speaks

Volumes and with my deep breath I respond.

I respond to that place, that time and yes that

Feeling. Like a harp, he plays my strings and with

Melodious whispers I respond.

My elusive dream or so I thought, but with a

Memory so dear, it lays upon my being.

In dreams I love, in dreams I yearn. In dreams we are

I remember. His being, his eyes and the mist of

His being, I am there.

And now I am left to accept that which is

For he still moves me, stealing my last ounce

Of not wanting, leaving me yearning.

I breathe and upon thy reflections, I discover

Him, I re-discover love hidden in shades

And my echoes of my love for him.
