Share the time...

Share the time...

Everyday whether we are in a bad or good position we need to be thankful...

Share the time...

People wish but some haven't got
You steal a look but then turn your back
You're raised up but then get dropped
Who's picking you up to get back on track

To be rich is not measured in money
To break a promise is killing your conscience
To live life we must count ourselves lucky
Greed and slavery still walks amongst us

Share the time and make people smile
Forget the strong and help the fragile
Feed the poor and save the dying
Stop judging and stop being blind

Breathe the air the living take for granted
Travel the world and see a beautiful planet
Forget about the struggles and stress
Remind yourself your not out to impress
Live off your own choices and actions
Don't dwell on what could have happened
Life is a road but you can build your own highway
When time stands still for that moment just stay
Just stay...

Share the time and make people smile
Forget the strong and help the fragile
Feed the poor and save the dying
Stop judging and stop being blind.

"Don't dwell on what could [of] have happened" ... In all actuality, and to be grammatically correct, what could "have" happened would be correct in this instance, Wayne.
It's a fairly common mistake made by many.
Of course, it IS your poem so you may do with my suggestion as you wish.
Nice inspirational writing, as per your usual.

My pleasure, Wayne, that's why I'm here. To learn from the feedback I receive from others who care enough to read my work, and to help others, if possible.
I don't get many reads, for whatever reason. But I will always be willing to lend a hand.

I would certainly welcome your thoughts and opinions on my work.
Take care, my friend.

Positive advice Wayne. "Share the time and make people smile
Forget the strong and help the fragile
Feed the poor and save the dying"
If we all shared what time we have spare with others and made an effort to bring a smile to someone's face each day what a brighter place the world would be. Thanks for sharing. Ru.
