Shattered Ashes

My head slowly rests
On the wooden door
As I look up at the stars
Wanting to soar

I didn't know what to do,
Then you came to me
I never knew,
This kind of beauty,

It caused a
Desperate fire
From what was left
Out of these scattered ashes
You were a rescue
From all the bloody lashes
You shined light
Threw these shattered ashes
