She Knows, She Knows...

They always leave
The two year old
The five year old
At nine, fifteen
And twenty one
And mother
The redundant one
Alone
Alone in sun

She listens as they sing their
song
In other nests, in newer times
And all along
Her smiles on show, for
Back they'll come
She knows
She knows

And, indeed they trickle
One by one
With others new
To share her sun
Embrace her in the newer line
For seeds all flower, given time
Except, sometimes...
They dont
