She Said...

She said that it was a gift,

That if she used him the way that he used her then maybe life's pain-filled cracks will evaporate like acid.

She said that he deserved every last ounce of what she gave him, because he taught his own daughter the blood streaked art of womanhood as a birthday present on her 8th birthday.

She said that the ripped jagged bottomless hole in her heart shredded the night she found him in the shed with that, with that thing that was a disgrace to the female race.

She said he was once her love, her life, her all, and when I asked her what happened tears trekked down her face like unchecked semicolons.
