Poem -

She Sat There

She sat there, dazed and confused,
Her body weary, her feelings abused.
Hope ran dry as tears filled her eyes.
Her feelings betrayed, her youth disproved.
Her heart torn; her heart ripped in two.

She sat there, hurt and dismayed.
She bowed her head and began to pray.
A lesson was learned, and forgiveness so earned.
She stood up, sighed and turned.
Life rejuvenated, and hope restored.
"Thank you Jesus, my God my Lord."
