Sheep Dip

"When I go
I'm gonna be gone
and you ungrateful creatures
will be on your own"
said the shepherd
to the complacent sheep  
as the perimeter wolves
eagerly count the days
and await their feast
of dumb mutton..

For you see
my fellow herd crew
this support structure
a few of you bleating fools
wanna send away
cause of their imperfections
exists not only for our protection
but to guide us through
the dark forest when we are lost
