Shelling Life

There's nothing but love that surrounds you,
But gathering in the despair pushes out this fresh air.
The least amount of the things to make you empty.
The various unenjoyable things you do to fill your void,
And when unhappy doors close.
Social functioning which goes on everyday shuts down.
Fixed stares upon boredom piles up within the walls of solitude.
Unreachable has become of you.
Cut off no matter what ray of sun shined hope,
Filters through the dark place you put yourself in.
Might you peek out once in a while,
But i'm afraid to ask the face of a mask if it was to wear a smile,
And when were all convinced he breathes the same air.
He does so look, feel, hear, taste, and talk.
As quickly appeared the act of vanishing is silent and sudden.
Leaves you believing as if it was all a dream.
I've talked through his walls right at his shell,
And has said to of come to an understanding,
But the only ones who understand none in the least,
Is those who stand trying to insert someone so out of place.
For now solitary is an unlivable room,
And continues to be that way.
How long is all I can ask all you can say.
