Sheltered

Sheltered

We are never truly prepared for the realities of life.

But as we watch and learn, protecting ourselves and moving on the best way we can.

Nesting in the cocoon we've created to shield and nourish us and our loved ones.

We hope and pray that daily we'll be properly sheltered and able to strive.

Cleo!  You are so right!  I was sheltered growing up…when I was birthed into the "world"…I found that many things were not as I had "imagined".  In my daydreams everything was easy…I had to learn to thrive and strive in the midst of difficulties, disappointments, hurt and pain and loving the wrong man.  Well, I did make it through it all.  Life is good…my "shelter" is still standing!  Great write.
