Poem -

SHE'S FIGHTING

Tears in her eyes and struggling for breath
She doesn't want to contemplate dying or death
For she is strong and will battle through
Not thinking of giving up I know that to be true

In a world of hard knocks she wants to survive
Nothing is more precious than staying alive
When it's her time to go it will be on her terms
It won't because of a virus or any of its germs

So rest she must and try her best to recover
Wishing she had the love and support of a mother
Positive she will remain right to the end
Love and best wishes to her I duly send
