Shhhhhhhh

Don't wake the baby

There's too much a going on

Adult things, responsibilities

Shhhh....

There are fires to put out

Leaking pipes to mend

Recipies to cook

Laundry to be aired

We must not stir the Spirit now

No good feeding it

Hush hush

Let poetic words remain in the breast

There'll be time to get them off your chest

When we rest

When we rest

The fish of the sea

Wow! What an awesome write my friend. Welcome back! To be honest, my first real read of a family life poem on the Cosmos. Sheer brilliance it the way it is communicated. Enjoyed!!

Hey AL!!....I agree wholeheartedly with MAX (Fish)......there are definite flashes of brilliance running throughout this write......and I Love the way you refer to the child and the work required in raising it and a family in general......with my favorite phrase ~

~ "Let poetic words remain in the breast
There'll be time to get them off your chest...."

Fun, clever, informative, charming......ALL STARS!! & PINNED!!......well penned dear poet brother!!.......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.......T xo  :  )

Thanks guys! It always feels good to be back!

Actually, the child is a metaphor for Poetry Writing. 😅 This peace conveys how I have been too busy to write.
Just now coming into the "rest" to get things off my chest, and feed into poems from the milk of my breast (thoughts that have been brewing in the background). 🤭

SHALOM 🙏🏼
