Shifting Winds

Fear not the changing tide,
The shifting winds,
The stormy sky.

Fear not the starless night,
The darkened path,
The clouded light.

Fear not the roaring waves,
The creaking ship,
The misty haze.

Fear not the journey ahead,
The unknown waters,
The land not tread.

Fear not, the sun will rise,
The ship will sail,
The storm subside.

Kelsey, this is amazing, reminiscent of Walt Whitman's 'o captain my captain', you have an affection for the classics love the way the 'classic soul' mates with the 'positive' theme of this poem, and the repeated lines work beautifully.... good on you to have a resolution at the end as well; no fill in the blank ending for you; impressive!  superb write, and welcome to 'poetryland'
