The Ships Eye

This may come as your surprise but I devise

I cannot follow you into the lies

Into the den, into the dark

Of this world of a dream a ship foretold

It carried me away

To a different tide

One that never rises or dies

Steady carried into the light

Though my shine be covered by

This shell of clay

Eye live by

In my mind I can view

This world of electric rule

Who tricked me there

Or perhaps anywhere

Never not one no not you

This may come as your surprise

Then you read who is who

Who is this poem he talking to

Well it is you unless the bear ensnared

The person you once knew you

Did you though

Thought you knew

Who is you

All the words are mixed

On the see though there is a ship

It sails away

Write your help in the sand

Send your message floating in glass

Take your hand and grab ahold

Of your heart in your I

Where the mind can devise

How to sea your eyes
