Silence

Silence

Silence is something you get used to,
The same like chaos, over time you begin to crave it,
Like a blanket of shadows covering a town,
Too subtle to notice,
But when they're gone you know there is something missing,
Something lost,
Living in solitude takes a toll,
Whether self-inflicted or not,
You begin to crave the silence,
The escape nobody dreams about but everybody wants.
