Poem -

Silence

Love has it's limits, hearts can break
with every step away you take

Will I chase, or will I fall
Crumbling 'til there's nothing left
nothing left of me at all

I often wonder, I often cry
willing the strength for a goodbye

That's not my choice, not my desire
No effort from you, UGH what a liar!

Words that you speak, no longer ring true
I hope time heals wounds, inflicted by you

Not marks that can be seen, but felt by the heart
I keep looking to you, though we are far apart

When we meet, will your feelings transpire
and the look from your eyes
tell me maybe, you are not such a liar?

That the distance enveloped, the love that you feel
making it impossible to tell what was real

Now to pursue, or let the air speak for you?
