Silently Loud

Subconscious

Tucked away in this vessel.
Afraid to think. Afraid to speak.
Editing my thoughts so as not to offend.
Silently loud to those who scream and curse.
Verbalizing my assumed faults.
Yet they are so far from my truth.
My silence becomes louder.
Deafening. Piercing.
Yet my actions are harmless.
The guilty has convicted the innocent.
