Curdled shades of dusky clouds
Silhouette the shining sun
Covering cobalt blue happiness
Resembles of summer seaside fun

That bright, yellow ball of heat is hiding in the sky
Playing ‘Peek-a-boo’ with every cloud that gently passes by

Marvellous moments of sheer delight
On each & every show
tho only glimpses of that beautiful sight
From the canvas of cottonwool balls below

The spoils of such a perfect day
those Cumulus clouds above
waxing & waning collectively
masking the sunshine which we love
