SILVER LINING SEARCH

The search is on to find something so rare 
If I look hard enough I know it will be there 
Once I find it will I hope it will be brightly shining 
For I am on the hunt for the elusive silver lining 

I've looked on green fields and still not found 
So should I cross off the beautiful green ground 
Is the silver lining then high above in the sky ?
The answer is still no as I let out a huge sigh 

Just when I'm about to abandon all real hope 
I've found it not using a microscope or telescope 
The silver lining I've searched for is you my dear
So perfectly thankful that I have you here
