Simple

Why do we make things so difficult for ourselves?
Chasing after connections with others; even something as worthless as money.
I would tumble to the ground and slightly decompose every single time my heart became twisted by him.
I covered my ears and breathed.
Breathed loud and hard.
I opened my eyes to darkness and I saw much more clearly how to make things simple.
