Seeing the sunset settle out my front door
Simple things you should cherish and adore

Clear blue sky on a lush field of grass 
Simple things you should not pass 
A mug of hot tea on a cold winters day 
Simple things to me are more than okay 

A phone call from a friend out of the blue 
I love the simple things that much is true
