SIMPLE THINGS

Every so often you`ll meet a heart that has been broken!

Now they`re all broken battered and torn.

They`re so locked up tight against the world because of fear

Their hurt just lays there bleeding, an open wound.

With all their pain unspoken.

The hurt is just eating away at their soul

With no freedom from it in sight.

Don`t turn your back on their heart again!

Give comfort where you can.

Show compassion and caring!

Give them your love to ease their pain.

Don`t just keep on walking past them

Show that love can happen again.

If you see a soul that is crying in pain!

Please stop and ask them why?

They won`t think ill of you!

They`ll find relief from their stormy sky!

Just take a minute to think about them!

How would you feel if it was you?

What would you need to find relief from your pain?

What would you want someone to do for you?

Don`t be afraid to show them love!

It doesn`t cost anything!

A bit of honest caring for others!

Is such a very simple thing!
