Poem -

Singing for freedom and peace .

The rising sun shines so bright
Bringing comfort and warmth
After a cold winters night
A heated kiss upon the breeze
To touch a heart with tender ease
Birds whistling a beautiful song
Far atop the trees
Singing for freedom and peace
Down below
No sign of snow
Where did all the winter go
Melting away the ice
The morning warming sun
A winter sacrifice.
