Singing Ringing Tree

Singing Ringing Tree

She didnt want to be Princess,
poor damsel in distress,
her dragons were hard pressed,
in the enchanted forest..

What cant be undone shall remain,
in some exile on another plane,

where other girls would dream,
of being the fairest in the land,
her happiness could not
be planned,
into a life of purple people
eaters, and red white and blue,
like the Huntress she ran
to share the love that she had,
with her Sweet Prince,
Not in stately pleasure domes,
full of stuff and protocol
her tiny steps where heard,
in the corridors of sovereigns,
Who's stiff upper lips grew limp,
wishes were ten a penny now..
in their day they cost a kings randsome
and a chateau in Provance,
