In solemnity's winter
Morning, rings the bell
For the sadness adrift
Alights,
In radiant afternoon,
Where the day
In it's sun-drenched cheeks
Blooms,
With wolf-like attention
Then fades
(ever so gracefully)
Into the prey called night
For the daunting calendar of time
Is recognizable
In a single,
Twenty four
Hours....
