Singular I’s

Singular I’s

The more
I think

I think
About us

Then the
More I realise

There is no
Us, is there

Today we
Are no more

Than a pair of
Singular I’s

Oh’ and a few
Loosely scattered

Obsolete were’s
For good measure

That’s all
We are now

Summed up
On a lonely page
