Sinking Ships

There are sinking ships,

They are all around me,

While I sail fine,

My friends perish in the sea.

As I look around,

Not one,

Not a few,

But there are many ships down.

I rush and hurry,

To gather and save as many as my ship can carry,

But at last,

It seems the ships capacity,

I have passed,

Oh, No,

I'm sinking fast!

Nothing now left to do,

But sink with the others too.
