Sinner, Most Welcome Guest!

Sinner, Most Welcome Guest!

Merrily to mass they go on Sunday mornin'
With dear family they plan to spend the evenin'.
Sadly, youth rarely knocks on God's door,
Count on the old folks, even if they soar.
Forgive me Lord; I've failed You again
Please help me change the way I am!

I REALLY like this choice in subject matter...... as a debut' piece its quite clever.... making it curious to see/read your next entry...... Because you definitely have a knack for delivering with a fine sense of poetic rhythm & timing!!...... Isn't it interesting that older people are more apt to go to church on Sundays .....I guess it's at that time in life that one begins dealing with their mortality.......ALL STARS!!...... well done dear poet sister.... and ......WELCOME to COSMO!!......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.....T xo ?✴❀
