Sinners Prayer

Liberate me
from these shackles of remorse

Please set my life on a different course

I understand I lost the bet
But must my future die in regret

Can it really be so
that from one wrong move
my fate is set

Hasn't my family
suffered enough

Is there no way for me
to make it up

Oh give me a chance
to rekindle the romance with life

Surely there's still good to be tasted
So many decades ahead

I promise
not to waste it
