16 years have passed
not a word spoken
i was lost
thought i was abandoned
so many lonely years
then just recently
i got a call
it blew my mind
it was so unreal
thought it was a sick joke
to my suprise
my sister found me
16 years i thought
no one cared
for 16 years she searched for
she thought i may be dead
we talked
and were still talking
getting to get to know each other
once again
i have changed
i've changed alot
some things i don't speak of
things of the past
but the past is the past
today i am someone i like
today i am a decent person
i am so happy she never gave up
