Sisters Bond

The bond between sisters is never broken .
Moments and times. Go unspoken.
But we are all that we have.
Difficulties, disagreements we ingest.

As the youngest, I regressed.
I remember the apple tree,
The picture taken of us three.
In the dresses our mother made.
Fond memories slowly decayed.

Our childhoods were all so different.
Some of us felt insignificant.
And that was no fault of our own.
What we thought should have been a happy home.

I do understand, maybe more than you know.
I realize what happen,  however the situations helped us grow.

We learned how to protect ourselves and those we loved.
We gained strength from the angels above.

There is no longer a reason to feel threatened.
As the baby, I ask our bond, us three, be strengthened.

I myself love you both more than you'll ever know.
And deep inside, you both feel the same.
With anger and angst, nothing will be gained.

Please let us move passed our past.
Please let us follow the loving path.

The one we had when we were young.
We three are so very strong.
Determined, stubborn and hard headed.
Many things in life we have regretted.

Let our bonds grow yet again.
Because we never know when it will end.
