skins

skins

Skins
monkey boots
Regae everywhere
tight white jeans
with tartan shirts
the bastard child
of mod/punk..
we stole the beat
from Jamaican heat.
and Motown which
spilled over from
The sixties..rolling
from.off shore ships..
we slept with
Luxembourg
twiddling  into frequency
to get our fix.
that girl was me
an old thirteen..
sporting
a crombie
not on the straight
and narrow..
shortly before commitment
hits double barrel
