SLEEP

SLEEP

Sleep comes to most of us every night
We close our eyes and put out the light
The dreams take over and the nightmares too
It's something that all kinds of people do

I look at my alarm clock by the side of my bed
Time to get up from the slumber and zed zed zed
Sleep is over at least for the time being
No more sweet dreams I will be seeing

At around ten o'clock sleep will happen once more
Part of my daily routine which is never a chore
