Sleeping with the enemy we lay at nite for sweet rest of God's peace after a wonderful.nite of A all nite

prayer meeting dancing in.the new wine we call the spirit of his Grace you believe someone whom holds you close and talks stories of old

He or She once a friend who shared even though tears really was not your friend but your enemy gathering only to deceive Gossip you hear what was said in secret

They come they go in.the nite we love we care we give our all only to find he or she wasn't there 

Physically next beside you only to hear them.speak from their dreams 

life with the enemy eyes glare their face they pretend to smile only to find they never been wanting you

Shadows walk behind to follow where you once stood 

sleeping with the enemy what secrets they do bear what tales they do tell a friend you thought only a foe can go this route 

You trust and claim the one you love could never do wrong never tell that devastating lie that breaks the betrayed
