Poem -

Sleepless Nights

Paint me a picture of a familiar scene.
You and your kids playing and laughing, listening to the songs they sing.
I can't hold back he tears..
Now I only have one question for you.
How do you sleep at night? When I hear their silent cries, and I know their fears.
Shooting that familiar smile straight through to you, although slowly fading;
seeing pictures on a wall of what used to be a family.
Mother and children, but none of me...
I'm a memory.
