“Smile and the whole world smiles with you”?

I always try my utmost to be upbeat about life
Now this isn’t always easy when there’s trouble and strife
Sometimes the media coverage is a menace doesn’t it paint a world of gloom
As one tunes into the news channel sat in the comfort of one’s living room
But for every crock of calamity
I believe there shall be a silver lining
Another brand new day will dawn and our beautiful bright sun shall be shining

And yes I realise life can and does challenge us with it’s natural disasters
Floods, fires and earth quakes are usually prewarned from our weather forecasters
There are ups and downs of rises and falls each and every day
This is unfortunately what life is about so inevitable come what mayBut one has to think positive and always have faith in hope
What’s the good going around with negativy that is a downwards slippery slope

Laugh and the whole wide world will laugh with you
Well this is exactly what I want to do
No matter if they are laughing at me then at least they won’t be blueWhen life gives us a hundred reasons to cry
Show life that you have a thousand reasons to laugh
This isn’t easy so I shall not lie but how many people will be happy on your behalf
