The Smile Of Lies

Silence brews up a storm
In the depths of my heart,so warm

How must I forgive
When for lies, I live 

Do not ask why, tears flood these eyes
I do not fly with the butterflies

If you only knew
My heart so blue

I wake to cry
Feeling my happiness die

For I can no longer feel
Anything real

No sorrow
Hopes for a better tomorrow

No rise and shine
Only the tears I drown in wine

Look deep in these saddened eyes
See beyond the smile of lies

Reach into my soul
You will find the hole

Where my emotions used to be
Long before depression, won over me 

Still I fight
To be alright

Stuck under clouds of gloom
My pedals will not bloom

I Take a minute to force a smile
It may take a little while

But, I will be okay
Depression will lose one day

Along with millions,to a silent depression I fight
God grant us a light

No more suicide, no more pain
No lost souls, crying in the rain

The future of our generations are in our hands, lets take a stand
Curing Depression, over the entire land

Solely with love
Granted from above

I am depressed, I feel alone
When love is unknown

Children hang them selves at night
Bodies collapse at morning light

Cities get left in the dark
Families completely lose their spark

By choice
With out a voice

Then we cry
Wondering why, they chose to die

Spread the love, not the hate
Depression is what we ourselves create

The definition of love has gone sour
Depression gains power

Where is the love we have known
I only see bodies under stone
