Poem -
SMILES + EYES
how come then
that I never did see
in the flesh
in the reality
in the living life
when that was so
how come then
that I never did see
that finite spark
that mortality
how come then ...now,
I see it now
in all the various
smiles and eyes
here captured
on a lightened lense
here frozen under earthly skies
that flesh was only ere pretence
that bone was only ere disguise

Wow Marion this is awesome! I loved that last set of lines especially. When we look at photos of those past. It is a mere imprint of the shell they had on this earth. I felt that here. Superb writing that many will relate to ❤️
