SNEAKY FINDERS

You may all have heard of Peaky Blinders
Here's my version entitled Sneaky Finders
This gang searched for things on field and floor
Maybe some gold washed up on the sea shore

Eureka the word when a discovery was found
Eyes like hawks and the smell of a bloodhound
I think I joined this gang back in ninety three
No discovery alas ever happened to me

Then one day finally my luck did change
A shiny object on a field I thought strange
Turned out to be a really old British penny
Searched by thousands hunted by many

Eureka I cried the gang came in my direction
Looked at the penny for a closer inspection
Handshakes and back slapping then ensued
All the gang and me in a most wonderful mood
